1. General Return Eligibility

  • Products must be returned in their original condition, with tags, packaging, and all accessories intact.
  • Returns are not accepted for items that are:
    • Damaged due to customer mishandling.
    • Washed, altered, or used.
    • Custom-made or personalized products.

Certain product categories may not be eligible for return. Specific exclusions will be noted on the product detail page.

2. Domestic Returns (Within India)

Return Window

Most items are eligible for return or exchange within 10 days of delivery. Specific products may have a different return window, which will be mentioned on the product detail page.

Process

  1. Initiate a Return:
    • Log in to your account and navigate to the “My Orders” section.
    • Select the item to return and choose the reason.
  2. Reverse Pick-Up:
    • Available for most PIN codes. Our logistics partner will collect the product within 3–5 business days.
    • Ensure the product is securely packaged to avoid damage during transit.
  3. Self-Ship Option:
    • If reverse pick-up is unavailable, customers can self-ship the item to the return address provided.
    • Retain the shipping receipt for refund processing.

Refunds

  • Refunds will be processed after a successful quality check at our warehouse.
  • Refund timelines:
    • Bank Transfers/Digital Payments: 7–10 business days.
    • Indian Motley Credits (for Cash on Delivery orders): 1–2 business days.

3. International Returns (Outside India)

Return Window

Returns for eligible products are accepted within 15 days of delivery.

Process

    • No reverse pick-up facility is available for international orders. Customers must self-ship the product to the address provided after approval from customer support.

Important Notes:

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, including customs or duties, unless the item is defective or incorrect.
  • Indian Motley is not liable for loss or damage of the product during self-shipping or transit. Refunds will not be processed if the product is not received in its original condition.

Refunds:

Refunds for international orders will be issued:

  • Original Payment Method: Within 10–15 business days after the returned product clears quality checks.
  • Indian Motley Credits (for Cash on Delivery orders): Within 2 business days.

4. Non-Returnable Products

The following categories are non-returnable unless they arrive damaged or defective:

  • Customized or personalized items.
  • Perishable goods.
  • Jewelry, innerwear, and beauty products (for hygiene reasons).
  • Clearance or final sale items.

5. Damaged or Defective Items

  • If you receive a damaged or defective product, notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Provide photographs and a description of the issue to expedite processing.
  • For domestic orders, our team will arrange a free reverse pick-up for inspection.

6. Exchanges

  • Exchanges are allowed for size, color, or product variations if available.
  • Replacement orders will be shipped within 3–5 business days of receiving the returned item.
